Haier HLP23E Electronic 1-1/2-Cubic-Foot Touch Pulsator Top-Loading Portable Washing Machine

Product Review

This washer has changed my life! I live in an apartment and having to go towards the laundromat was killing my weekends. So, should you can believe of nicer points to complete than spending a Saturday or Sunday at the laundromat, this washer is for you. It's one of the bigger compact washers available - 20 inches wide. That way, it really is huge sufficient to fit a decent sized load, yet little sufficient to fit most closets and other tight spaces. I can normally wash either 10 XL t-shirts, three jeans, or 1 queen sized sheet set at once. Just make certain to load items loosely until the washer is full and pick the high water level, which the washer doesn't do by default. Clothes come out perfectly clean. This washer works considerably better with liquid detergent than powder detergent, which tends to accumulate within the lint filter. Even though it does have a powder detergent dispenser, I would advise against using powder detergent. (More...)

Hotpoint HDA1100NWH Full Console Dishwasher - White

Product Review

Should you are searching for an inexpensive dishwasher that actually cleans the dishes nicely, then you might want to contemplate the Hotpoint HDA1100NWH. It could be an excellent option for a rental property, for a property which is occupied by college students, or for someone like myself. We had a Kenmore Elite that was only 5 years old and that had been operated each other day - at most. Our plans were to replace this unit when we remodeled our kitchen in two years. Nicely, needless to say the Kenmore died and repairs were going to be at the least $200 for parts - with no guarantee that the problem would actually be solved or the dishwasher resurrected. Rather than waste cash on a repair that may possibly not perform for two years, I decided to purchase this as a stopgap measure. (More Detail...)

Frigidaire FMP330RGB 18 Portable Dishwasher - Black

Product Review

After moving into my new place, I decided it was time to get rid of the Danby countertop dishwasher and get a standing, 18" portable. I'd usually observed the countertop model as a stopgap, due to the fact most apartments I could afford did not have lots of countertop, but the Danby did nicely for me throughout the time I used it. I'd had an 18" Sears Kenmore portable about 20 years ago, and was planning on purchasing one more Kenmore simply because I'd been fairly pleased with that one. Then I received a $500 bonus from function, within the form of an Amazon gift certificate, so I decided to give up on Sears and see what I could get through Amazon. I identified this Frigidaire, which seemed to have reasonably excellent critiques at other sites, and ordered it. (Review More...)

GE GSC3500RWW 25 Convertible/Portable Dishwasher - White

Product Review

I did not purchase this dishwasher from Amazon, but I do own it. I purchased it to replace an older 18 inch model that was on its way out. So far, I'm really pleased with it. This is a standard dishwasher with regular racks, a bottom spray arm for the lower rack, as well as a tower spray for the upper rack. The method washes well, given an excellent detergent (Finish tabs in my case), suitable loading, and reasonably well-scraped dishes. I scrape every thing out having a silicone spatula prior to loading, and everything comes out clean with no food residue on anything. In spite of being fundamental, the dishwasher has all of the cycles a lot of people require. There's Normal for everyday dishes, Light for dishes that have been rinsed, Pots and Pans for heavier soils. There's also a Hot Start alternative that does a couple of extra fills to preheat the wash water for the primary cycles, and a rinse only feature for partial loads so they don't go rancid before the dishwasher is filled. Water usage is around 7 gallons for a regular cycle. (Read More...)

EdgeStar Countertop Portable Dishwasher for 6 Place Settings - Silver

Product Review

I looked for numerous months for a countertop dishwasher, and read a lot of, many evaluations. I lastly settled on this 1 as it seemed to fit my needs and garnered decent press. I was leary at very first simply because all I can bear in mind are those beautiful bubble-top countertop "dishwashers" from the 60's and 70's that did little far more than rinse the dishes. Was I ever mistaken. The carton arrived a week earlier than estimated, with absolutely no damage (extremely properly packed). The instructions are straightforward, and putting the adaptor on the kitchen sink took less than a minute. Then it was merely a matter of hand-tightening the connections, and presto! it was prepared to go. The inside of this dishwasher swallowed a total service for 6 (I tried - with 10.5" plates no much less), with some space left more than for a few serving dishes. It has several cycles to select from, and I've found that the glasses only cycle seems to perform nicely for most of my daily requirements. (More...)
